- remove damaged drywall and wet insulation,
- let damaged areas dry – use dehumidifier – one week,
- seal / prime damaged areas with oil-based sealer,
- install new ceiling insulation,
- install new drywall,
- tape, patch and sand repaired areas,
- prime repaired ceiling areas with PVA primer,
- paint the ceiling with Sherwin Williams white flat CHB paint-two coats,
- paint the walls with Sherwin Williams low-sheen Zero VOC paint – two coats.
